Road to 1000 Democratic Ideas: North Country

This week, Democrats are taking the “Road to 1000 Democratic Ideas” tour North with stops in Franklin, Clifton, Essex, Hamilton, St. Lawrence, Jefferson, and Lewis Counties.

This seven-county swing follows four weeks of asking everyday New Yorkers how they’d make New York even better.  And by reaching out to voters in every county in the state, the Democrats are sending a message that everyone’s voice counts, regardless of zip code.

We’ve already received thousands of proposals, but we’re not done yet.  There’s still time to make your voice heard by submitting your own idea using the simple web submission form here.

In the meantime, check out some of our recent posts to get a sense of how New Yorkers would solve our common problems, and check back later this week to read fresh ideas submitted by North Country residents.
