As of yesterday, the “Road to 1000 Democratic Ideas” tour has been to every county in Western NY.  Today, we’re completing our swings through the Southern Tier and Hudson Valley with four more stops, starting in Orange County.

• Wyoming – provide more business development grants to start ups, rather than focusing primarily on existing businesses.

• Livingston – create targeted educational grants to improve the currently inadequate schooling received by autistic children.   

• Niagara – Streamline the process through which liquor licenses are awarded by the State Liquor Authority.

• Kings – Establish a public-private partnership to raise money to build a 10th Avenue stop on the 7 train extension.

• Westchester – use eminent domain only for public development projects, not for the benefit of private entities.
