With Four Weeks To Go, Now's the Time to Volunteer

With less than 5 more weeks between now and the election, concerned citizens are getting involved in the political process and Democratic campaigns across New York are looking for volunteers.  Now, there are two sites that can help volunteers and campaigns find each other.

The first is the local party finder on NYDems.org.  Here, you can get in touch with your local County Committee and volunteer for Democrats in your community.  If you’re not sure who you want to work for, if you want to help out with a bunch of candidates, or if you want to work on local races, this is the place to go.

And if you want to find a specific campaign for statewide office, Congress, or the state legislature in your neck of the woods, the NYS Young Democrats can also help.  Their 14 local chapters have a system that can hook you up with specific campaigns sorted by location and what office the candidates are running for, and help you start working as soon as you can.

Check them both out today, and get involved in the 2010 election now!
