Our office works with campaigns and organizations around the state who are always looking for talented and dedicated individuals at all levels to add to their staff. We keep a job bank so we can assist Democrats who are gearing up for big races all over New York.
If you are looking for a political job in New York City or State, please email your resume to nydems@nydems.org, and include any information about the kind of position you're looking for and whether it must be located in a particular region. Put "RESUME: [your full name]" in the subject line.
Internships
2008 is an important year, and we have a lot of hard work ahead of us. We need smart, flexible, creative interns, ready to take on serious responsibility in areas like: Politics, Finance, Communications, and Online Strategy. Major projects this year include State Senate and Congressional campaigns around the state, planning for the Democratic National Convention in August, and maintaining an active and dynamic Democratic party in New York. Applicants should be ready to roll up their sleeves and get to work. While we are unable to pay our interns, we are happy to work with your school to facilitate any credit available to you.
If you are interested in spending your summer working with us, please (1) complete the form linked below, and attach a (2) resume, and (3) short letter explaining why you would be an asset to our team (high school students may submit a writing sample in lieu of a resume). Instructions for submitting the application are included at the bottom of the form.
Applications are due April 20. All applicants will receive e-mail confirmation that their material was received. Interns will be offered positions on or around May 7.
