New York - Another day, another GOP attack on an idea they once championed. Today New York State Democratic Party Co-Chair Dave Pollak called on Senate Republicans to stop their now three day old obstruction campaign and work with Governor Spitzer to address issues vital to New York's economic future.

O'Neill was reacting to comments from Senator George Winner reported in this morning's New York Times pouring water on Governor Spitzer's plans to improve SUNY and CUNY.

New York, NY- Today leaders of the New York State Democratic Party called on the four Republican candidates for Congress in New York's 20th Congressional District (Gillibrand) to break their silence and come clean about their position on President Bush's veto of legislation to increase funding for the State Children's Health Insurance Program (SCHIP). Last week House Republicans voted to sustain that veto.
